ASPE Young Professional / Student Article Competition

Hello and welcome all ASPE Young Professional (AYP) and Student Members. Hope you are doing great.
We are excited to announce the return of ASPE Young Professional / Student Article Competition in 2026. This would be an opportunity to share your knowledge on plumbing design and technology.  The selected articles will be given a cash prize as well as being featured in our ASPE BC Chapter monthly newsletters! 

Rules of Contest:
1. Contestants must be a student or an AYP member of ASPE.
2. The article must be between 600 and 900 words or a maximum of 2 pages.
3. The content of the article must be about a previously issued plumbing articles, plumbing design projects or the plumbing community and the industry.  Refer to the following two website locations for past Plumbing Publication issues https://www.phcppros.com/publications/1-plumbing-engineer and https://www.aspe.org/pipeline/category/pipeline-exclusives/.

Selection Process:
Submissions will be reviewed by ASPE Young Professional / Student Article Competition Committees and reported to the Board of Directors within two weeks after the submission deadline.
Winners will be selected and share cash prizes up to $1,500.
All winners will be notified via email and only ASPE members will be awarded with the cash prizes.
